Group «Sciana» was formed in 1999. Official day of formation — August, 1st, 1999. At that time the group consisted of guys of 15-16 who gathered in the private garage and played something like pank- jazz-rock. Definitely, they had to solder the cords as well as to make the instruments themselves! But when you are young and the whole world is under your feet, these are just the little nothings of life!


The group founder is a drummer, Alexey Kuznetsov by name. It was he who gathered guys in one team and inspired creative work Guitarist  Paul Prokhorov and bass player Andrey Klimus were in the band from the very beginning . In 2001 a saxophone appears in the music Sciana plays, which in the combination with hard guitar drive quickly became band’s «card».

«The sense of our creativity is in the search... In the search of something new, unusual, in constant movement forward», — these words became credo for Sciana. In 2002 the first album of the band «Рыфмы лесаў» appeared with the help of Minsk publishing house «Limas». Since that time the style and sounding were changed a lot.

Now Sciana is:

Alexey Kuznetsov — drums;
Pavel Proharov — guitar, vocal;
Andrey Klimus — bass;
Evgenie Lukjanchik — saxophone
